HOW TO CLEAN A TAP
Clean the surface of the taps (in gold or painted finish) daily and exclusively with a soft cloth and water. We also recommend that you never postpone the drying of any drops of water on the product, which could lead to the formation of deposits of limestone difficult to remove.
HOW TO ACT AGAINST LIMESTONE
If limestone is deposited on the taps, as an alternative to water only, it is possible to clean the surfaces with water and soap or with delicate detergents. However, we recommend not to spray detergents directly on mixers or showers, but on a soft cloth, then using the latter to clean the affected surfaces. Finally, rinse the mixers and showers after cleaning with clean water, taking care to dry carefully.
STAINLESS STEEL TAPS AND FITTINGS
Godanaa taps and shower heads made of AISI 316L stainless steel ensure a long life. However, in everyday use, products are subjected to continuous stresses, so daily care and specific treatments are essential to preserve the beauty of steel surfaces and oxidizable.
In particular, we strongly recommend drying any drops or water deposits on the product thoroughly with a soft cloth.
CLEANING STAINED STEEL FROM LIMESTONE
To clean the steel from limestone an effective remedy is lemon juice, an excellent ally for cleaning steel especially when the limestone is stubborn. The lemon juice should be diluted with water on the surface to be treated and then you must insist on passing on the area with a sponge. If your enemy is rust then you can clean the steel by creating a mixture of lemon juice, water and salt to be applied for a few minutes on the surface. Lemon is also useful to perfume as well as to polish and clean.
NOT TO DO LIST
Do not leave wet cloths or sponges on the stainless steel to avoid the formation of unsightly water stains. Do not leave ferrous tools in contact with stainless steel surfaces, as contact corrosion may occur. Avoid the use of abrasive sponges or metal scouring pads that can scratch the surface. Do not use for any reason detergents that contain chlorine or its compounds (bleach, muriatic acid, decalcifiers, etc.), as they could affect the composition of stainless steel, staining or oxidizing it irreparably. It is also a good idea not to leave open packages or bottles of detergents or other chemical products of acidic composition near stainless steel taps: the fumes could oxidize and in some cases corrode the steel
